Forgot A Title

I have a pretty booked weekend..The Christmas parade is Saturday..I have never missed it in 20 years. Tonight a few of us might go see Milk (the movie) but they are not showing it in Long Beach..How stupid..huge population of gays here people!!! The closest place is in Orange County, there are only 2 places showing it from here to San Diego. There are a few theaters in LA that are playing it and that is it. Pisses me off. So we either have to drive or wait till it goes to DVD or a theater decides they want to show a "gay movie" in a gay city. Technically it is not a "gay movie" it is part of California history so it should be playing everywhere..god dammit!

I have a ton of other things to do this weekend but I am sure you would be bored with my list of things. So everyone else have a good weekend. Oh and here is a video of Natasha Bedingfield..my future wife.

That is a great song! ok so now I am not feeling so bad about Milk. I am stunned it inst' playing in LB. It isn't playing here either, I am hoping it is just slow to get here...like all other movies.

The Art Theatre on 4th had a poster for it a few weeks ago so we're hoping that it will be showing there soon so we don't have to sneak behind the Orange Curtain.

Movies take so long to get here, I'm better off waiting for the DVDs.

I think I saw somewhere that it was going to start out in limited theaters and then go nation wide all over...but what do I know?...all I do do is that all the critics are raving about Sean Penn's performance...friends of Milks said it was like watching him...
let me know when you and natasha have your wedding shower..I'll send a toaster oven..(re ellen's show joke)

That's one of the primary means of supression that homophobes in the majority use against us--to shut down discussion about gay rights, and relegate it to "something we don't talk about." Lack of communication -> maintenance of the status quo.
