Random Catching Up

Well I am back…I have actually been back but too busy to blab on the blog.
The Pacific Northwest was cold. My niece’s wedding was wonderful.

I wish I would stop having a period, there should be a switch or button we can push if we plan on not producing children. Bullshit that I have been having a period since 5th grade…stop already!

Supreme Court in California is listening to arguments over Prop 8. They will decide if it is fair to not let some people have equal rights.

Did anyone hear about this lady who called 911 because she didn’t get her chicken mcnuggets? I am amused…I can listen to the 911 calls over and over again.

I actually like chicken mcnuggets…I haven’t had them in years but dippin them nuggets in sweet and sour sauce..so delightful.

I am really excited about the time change this weekend..I love it when the days get longer.

Portland Airport is so cute..they have special directions near their toilets..on how to flush. Up for yellow, down for brown. Well it doesn’t actually say that…I had to take a picture.

Homer and I cuddled all day on Monday when I got back.

This is one of my favorite pictures of us cuddling, it was taken a few months ago. He still thinks he is a lap dog.

I love that picture. So cute. I love your blanket too. Do you call it an afghan or a comforter in the states.

I call it an Afgan, my grandma actually made that 25 years ago. My favorite blanket.

We call them Africans in my family, ever since my brother called it that as a child.

Homer looks like a great snuggle bunny.

The best day ever was when I had a hysterectomy. Saved thousands on feminine products. Keeping my fingers for the Court to do the right thing for E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E.

I not only heard the call, but one channel interviewd her...OMG.

Homer is just damn cute....and I love the afghan....still have several my mom made.

Periods are icky. That has been my opinion ever since the first one.

Love the water saving terlit handle. Love that people need instructions to flush. Hee hee.

you and Homie are sooo adorable!
I call it an Afghan if it's just sitting there, and a comforter if I'm all snuggled up in it...don't know why.
The guy that's makin' a bazillion dollars of his dual-action-flush-contraption is my hero.

That pic of you and Homer is great. As for the flush handle, who's really going to stop and say, "Wait...I did a #2 so I must push the lever down rather than up." Oy!

Girl, you don't have to tell me about periods! I'm down to two good days a month during my cycle where I'm not raging/bleeding/bawling. Menopause, where for art thou?

I LOVE it when the big dogs think they are little! It's not nearly as annoying as the little dog who thinks he is big (that lives in my house!)

Glad the wedding was faboo!

Those are a couple of great pictures! The toilet one cracks me up, and the Homer & you one is adorable!! :)

Oh, and also, I've had my period since 5th grade, too--so I can totally empathize with you! :)

I'm so tired of having my period, now it's every 2.5-3 weeks.

We call it an afghan if it's made out of yarn, a comforter would be the down-filled kind.

Homer should have his own calendar, just too cute.

What is better than a couch with a dog for cuddling?

The thing about not having your period is you lose all those valuable hormones that keep you young!

Homer sure is cute.
