Great vid, Miss Sageweb. Indeed, it is a sad day when the folks in IOWA are more progressive than the folks of Miss J's chosen state of Cailfornia. Maybe ol' Iowa deserves a second look.
I was very upset with the reasoning of the SJC in California. I still can't fathom the reasoning behind the idea that you can vote on civil rights and who gets them and who doesn't.
As much as Massachusetts annoys me, there are times I'm glad I live here.
Here's how I choose to see this whole mess.
The California Supreme court could have overturned prop 8,and made it legal for gays to marryin California..
By upholding prop 8,it opens the door for the question to go before the U.S. Supreme court,where it could settle the question in favor of gay marriage for all 50 states!

This is just a delay, I believe that. The train has already left the station and now it's just a matter of time before people wrap their monds around the idea that allowing gay marriage is both sane and fair.
I really like what Sling said, too! Let's think positively!--but I'm still so sorry for you that California sucks such ass sometimes. :)
My heart sank when I read Prop 8 was upheld. How could they be so medieval?
