Wine, Chocolate and Art

Wow the title actually sounds a little sophisticated...but I can manage to bring anything down to my unsophistication. I attempted to twitter the wine tasting but I got too buzzed and chatty with real people to pull it off. We went down to the art district had some great Wine paired with magnificent chocolate. Not Snickers or Mars bars either..some fancy truffles. To give a full review would mean I would have had to pay attention to details...I didn't..it tasted good, I got buzzed. Then we went for a walk around town to blow the buzz away. Of course we found this wonderful bar..House of Hayden. It was very eclectic, Plus Jesus was in the rafters..


There was this big brick wall with a light shining on a small brick and when you got close this is what you saw


We managed to cruise a few art galleries since we were in the art district it seemed fitting. I snapped a few photos of some of my favorites.

This gallery had all mosaic art, the man and the girl below are all little tiles.

The mirror is made of random things like beads and tiles.






The next two were taken at a different gallery..bright vivid colors are my favorite.





This one is South America done out of Chic-lets. (gum)

My New Toy

This is what has been keeping me busy. A brand new toy! Paula Dean and I got us some Vespa scooters and we have been scooting around town. We have been having a blast. I love just scooting around getting 75 miles to the gallon.

So we need help, we need a name for our chick biker gang. We have motorcycles and scooters in our gang, and we need a catchy name so we can get cool shirts. We are not your typical Dykes on Bikes so that name won't work. In fact none of us are your typical Dykes on Bikes that you see in the news. We are pretty average..so we need a splashy name. Help us. You are all a clever bunch of readers.

Oh and yes I did change my profile picture. Thanks to Yellowdog Grannie she sent me a brand new hat, I love it and it is currently my favorite. The blue one was getting all faded and old.

Catching Up Plus Growing Dildos

Wow I have been a busy beaver, I still have Christine O'Leary video and pride video to edit. But my social life calls and that is really what is important...me. Let's see what have I done...um...lots of food, drink, women. Not really in that order though.
I went to see UP in 3D last night and it was a cool cartoon. Very vivid..the story was cute too.

This weekend the Sparks (WNBA) have their season opener and I will be there with all the other lesbians.

I am also going to see Brandi Carlile this week.
