Here is two minutes of something fun to look at.

To Tired to Think

Well on top of going to the Grand Prix this weekend we also went to West Hollywood to check out a play called Glengarry Glenn Ross.  Boy has a write up on it here. It was a fabulous play. Beyond words...but I will try. We were 3 tired gay people, spending the day eating free food, and interviewing the celebs at the Grand Prix. We were all dragging. But Boy had three tickets waiting for us so we were obligated. We mapped out our 33 mile journey on my IPhone, with Google maps, and live traffic...it said it would be 1 hour 9 minutes...so we translated that to at least 1 hour 40 minutes....We got there in about 36 minutes. That gave us lot of time to walk the streets of Santa Monica Blvd. (like the whores we are) to find a good shot of espresso.

Of course we ended up getting a great parking spot for 3 dollars...that is unheard of around the LA area. We walked around found some coffee. Passed Hamburger Mary's, and Boy gets noticed..so since he is a nice celeb we stopped and talked.  Two gorgeous women, at a very gay eatery, oh heaven. I think they were straight Hamburger Mary's is straight friendly.  Anygay, we tell them where we are going and the blond chick says, "Oh that is a depressing play", the other blonder chick says, "oh that is an intense play".

I know for myself the movie is BORING... Now neither of these might be straight chicks, at a gay eatery have ever seen this particular production, directed by Seth Howard, that we were about to see. But still we were already dragging, not looking forward to having to keep our eyes open.

We get to the play house and it so happens to be the playhouse of Odalys Nanin, The Macha Theatre house. She has been doing Lesbian Based plays in the LA area since 1992 and I have been a fan ever since. She rents her theatre out to other productions in between her stuff. In the old days she would put her plays in random theatres around LA so it is nice to see she has her own place. She was super nice that night and even took us in her office to show us the picture of Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, she did a play a few years ago based on her, and one of my favorite books.

This is Boy and Odalys Nanin.

Oh back to the story, we are dead tired, we get into the theatre and then it happens. The play starts and it is fascinating, the actors are brilliant, we were all wide awake and very happy.  We go to a lot of plays, and I think this one is one of the best I have seen.  We left giggling and very pleased we had made the trek to West Hollywood.

We go get the car...notice that we could have saved 3 dollars and parked in the Macha Theatre parking lot...but still 3 dollars..can't really complain. The problem was getting out of the parking garage. As soon as we start to leave there is a sign.

I was very tired and I interpreted this sign as Do Not Turn Right, the the words came to me as, No Left Turn.  I said to Boy's Main Squeeze, "What the hell should we do?  We can't go straight?" (ha ha that is a gay joke)  It was a negative symbol and I assumed the negative words would follow.  There was also a double yellow line...to put more confusion in the picture.   The thing is..they agreed with me.  We all thought that is what the sign said.  Even to the point I said "how stupid is that, we should take a picture."  So Boy hopped out of the car and took a picture, we stopped traffic for this shot.  Then we did a semi U-turn, which is legal cuz there was no sign saying it wasn't.  As we continued to talk about how silly the sign was, Boy was reviewing his camera shot.  He then said..."that is not what the sign said."  He then explained to us the correct way to read traffic signs.  So proof is in the picture.  But I believe at my tired state and the Boys and Main Squeeze's tired state, that the sign is incorrectly positioned.   The positive should be on top...the words..the negative symbol should be on the bottom.  Your mind plays tricks and if you see negative on top you assume the negative re-enforcement words would follow.

Or maybe it is just me.  We laughed all the way home...33 miles.  We were into the slap happy stage.  Boy has a different version of this story...my version is more factual.  He blames it solely on me.

Racing for Charity

This weekend Boy and his Main Squeeze and I went down to the Grand Prix to interview the celebs that were competing in the Charity Race, for the Children's Hospital.
Boy has the connections, he got us into the Celebrity Compound ...where there was free food.

Seriously we met some fabulous people, I went in only knowing a few of the celebs and I left still only knowing a few of the celebs but we did get to know a few great people.  Jaime Little was super nice and gave us some great interviews.  She works for ESPN and announces car races.  Nancy Lieberman was absolutely fabulous.  Of course she was my favorite, because she is a basketball chick.  She spent a ton of time with us....I wore my Tennessee shirt, the second day.  She loved it and her and I briefly fantasized about Pat Summitt...(ok, maybe just me)
I have no idea who this lady above is...but she is hot.  Her last name is Gordon.

Eric Dickerson, NFL hall of fame was also a sweetheart.  The whole event was great they raised over 90,000 dollars.  They all seemed to have a great time.  Here is one of the videos I did, so far.  You Tube makes it look like crap though.  It looks really nice on my computer..but that doesn't help you .

Young @ Heart Friday Video

I just saw these guys on Ellen yesterday and they are fun and exciting. They are a bunch of older people that have a choir that sings more up to date tunes, like Coldplay, Ramones, Black Eyed Peas and a ton of others.

Here is the trailer to the documentary about these guys...I want to see it. They make me smile.

Grocery Shopping

I went grocery shopping last night. I hate grocery shopping. I had to go shopping in a big grocery store. Not my usual Trader Joe's Shopping, which I dont mind, in and out under 60 dollars. But I needed things Traders Joes doesn't have like dog treat that Homer wont spit out, and toilet paper that wont chafe my vagina. I only go to the big stores when I am out of these type of things.

I did figure out what all the striking writers were doing for the last few months. They were writing ridiculous "pick me, pick me" product tags.... The first one I came across was the dare me to wear black..huh...oh I love a good dare. I really had no idea why a deodorant has to dare me. But I plan to use it and wear black. It isn't my usual brand, and if it turns out it sucks I will throw it in my gym bag as a back up.

The next product I had to have was this body wash plus by Olay...first off they went way over board with this bottle, they had me at body wash plus but they didn't stop there. This soap has radiance ribbons, yes radiance ribbons...exciting. This soap is going to help recapture a more youthful glow... I can't wait. But just when you thought this is the best soap in the world they get you with the fact that this has luminous brighteners. Oh my gosh, luminous brighteners, you are probably thinking this soap must cost a lot since it has luminous brighteners and is going to help me recapture my youthful glow. Well, you would pay top dollar for that right? Why even look at the cost. I will be young again as soon as the radiance ribbons flow over my body.

I tried it this morning, even though my Dove Cool Body Wash (boring) wasn't finished. I don't feel younger yet but maybe it takes a few showers. (keeping my fingers crossed)

The last product that gave me a good chuckle was the Playtex tampons, they have a New Look! But wait...same great 360 degree protection...really?? Why did they even bother going there? Are there tampons that only give 240 degrees of protection? these aren't my usual brand either but I did get a little paranoid that the others tampons would not give me 360 degrees of protection. So they got me.

I really wish I could have been a fly on the wall when the ad companies where coming up with these things. How do they get there? At what point does someone stand up and say "Radiance Ribbons, Luminous Brighteners!"??? Or a guy at the table saying "we need to make sure just because we have a new look we still provide protection ...360 degrees...jeez.

Things that Tick me off and One thing that is Cool

I am going to rant today, because I can.

I hate it when people walk in bike lanes and have there headphones on. I ride my bike through a park and the city college. There is a bike lane through both. The college even has a big enough area that the student can walk off of the bike lane on a walking path. I know it is asking a lot for the college student to read but when the words on the path that you are walking on say BIKE PATH, or PATH BIKE, (if you read road words backwords, like me) with big ass yellow letters, you think they would get it. Seriously get the hell over to the walking path. But that isnt really my bitch. My bitch is the students (all of them) that wear headsets and can't hear you approach them. I warn and say I am to your left....no reaction. In the morning the sun is on my back so my shadow hits them a split second before I do causing them to jerk and look at what is fast approaching. (usually scaring them, which btw causes me to giggle) I have only had one girl actually jump in front of me. I ran into her but slowed down not causing too much damage. She asked me what the hell I was doing and I said ...(yelled, because she didnt take her headphones out) I was riding my bike on the bike path, pointing to the big ass yellow letters. She mumbled something and walked off...on the bike path..they really don't learn...ever.
So my bitch are the headphones. I listen to music on my bike but only one ear is entertained the other ear is available for comments or assholes telling me to get off the road.

My other bitch is, Taiwan. I was suppose to go there in February, but it kept getting postponed. Now it is confirmed (until they change it) that I have to go in June. Because February, March and April were to convenient, what month am I busy??? Oh that 's right June! So make me go spend a week, working in the most inconvenient month on my schedule...Thank-you! Actually I am glad it wasnt the first week in May...then I would have been a super bitch.

One Cool thing...Does anyblogger ever read the crap when you go into your blogger dashboard? Well I don't usually but something caught my eyeball.

"Blog Lists... Add a blogroll to your blog’s sidebar. The Blog List is powered by Google Reader, so it can show when each blog was last updated and even include post titles and snippets."

That is pretty cool, I was going to try it..I think they are still testing it...but I am tooooo toooo lazy. I am sure it wont work right but it is a great concept.
Now if they would fix the spacing and the way you have to wrestle to get a photo posted..it would be brilliant...but I will find faults in something else.

Random Things

Random things today.
I love this lady! She is my hero. If you don't know who she is then you are probably not a lesbian. Which is fine. Womens Basketball...enough said....season is over.

I got it as soon as I saw it. Does that make me a raunchy girl? I don't care. If you don't get it, I'm sorry. You could be dumb. Just sayin.
One other thing, I have been hanging out at the Coffee Shop watching great videos and flirting with Lost in Colorado. She just started going there and I got first dibs.

Paradise by the GoPhone Light - Long version

I love MeatLoaf, the singer and the dish. I think this commercial is hilarious. Plus Tiffany is in it which cracks me up because she has a big bone.

Busy Busy

I actually haven’t blogged too much lately about what I have been up too. Mostly because I am lazy, but really because I have been pretty busy. Boy actually did a good update on his blog about what I did weekend before last…much easier if I had my own writer follow me around and post for me.

College basketball has been a big focus lately, men and women’s, mostly women.
The finals for the men are tonight, now that UCLA is out I don’t care too much but I will watch. Tomorrow though, two great ladies will be facing each other in the finals. Pat Summitt (Tennessee) and Tara VanDerver (Stanford). I love both of these women; I am torn for whom I will cheer for.

I did go to a party Friday night, it was a Drag Queen Botox party, and there were women with vagina’s there as well. I did a little video montage of the night. It is below. I am backed up with video’s I need to edit and get out, but I did just order some new kickass video software that will be here on April 9th, oh I cannot wait.

Since TV has been crap lately, I don’t mind hiding behind my laptop but The Office will be restarting on Thursday, and I love that show. So Thursday nights will be back full of uncomfortable humor which it what I like.

Eddie Izzard - Being Bilingual

This is for a friend who isn't familiar with Eddie. I think he is the most genius comic ever. Yes, two video blogs this week. Cuz I got nothin. But I still want to entertain you and I want you to laugh.

All I Can Do

This is just a hot chick, that has a great voice that no one knows about around these parts...her name is Chantal Kreviazuk she is Canadian. She is also a song writer, for people like Avril, Kelly Clarkson, The Veronicas. I loooove her.
